💭 Review: “*audiobook* I was so into this book and then at about 50% I got a little confused. I think I should have restarted it so I could have enjoyed it more fully! This has nothing to do with the author’s writing, it was me! I also think this would have been better for me to read as a physcial book!
I enjoyed the past, present, and multiple POVs on this one. They really helped keep it interesting! This would also be a great book to read during spooky season—the paranormal activity would have been perfect for that.
I also didn’t really expect the ending which is always great for a thriller reader! So, overall, I liked this book but my inability to keep up during the audiobook may have impacted my enjoyment of it. I also think it could have been a little shorter. The audiobook was 11 hours and I think 9 hours would have been better! There were definitely some chapters that didn’t need to be included/drug the story on.
I’ll be reading more from this author, though! I think they’ll become one of those auto-buy authors for me, especially the physical copies.”
