August 2024 Reading Wrap-Up

Here’s a cute little overview of my reading in August! Overall, I had a solid reading month!

My favorite read this month was The One by John Marrs.

I was pleasantly surprised to like The Locked Door by Freida McFadden.

I was surprisingly disappointed with Middle of the Night by Riley Sager. Not because it was a terrible book but because he has some books that I like way more so I expected more!

I was not surprised by my disappointment with The Perfect Son by Freida McFadden. Many of her books are a miss for me and this one fell into that category too!

Audiobooks were a large chunk of my month and I am so proud of that! I used to despise the thought of listening to a book and now look at me! It’s helped me exceed my reading goal four months early! It’s also helped me limit the time I watch TV which is a huge win!

If you want your own monthly wrap ups like this, join StoryGraph! It’s essentially the same idea as Goodreads but they give you monthly graphics not just yearly ones! You can also add me as a friend on there!

Bonus points, you can upload your entire Goodreads library to it so you don’t have to manually add your books to it! Win-win!

I would love to know about your reading in August! What did you read? Any favorites? Any disappointments?
